If men have anything in common with each other,
it is their flaws, their failures and their weaknesses
Do not ask a poet if he makes money writing poetry
for if you do you will incur the wrath
of a starving poet.
He who claims to have achieved excellence
is no stranger to arrogance.
Within a lie are hidden truths.
Many a “thank you” is said in silence.
If you ask for a “thank you”
you will lose all the thanks
in the “thank you.”
If you are constantly looking for approval
then you are probably lacking in self-approval.
Do not write a poem
that is not true
for if you do
your words will betray you.
